The Dark Sky Showcase takes place in a remote desert location with semi-off-grid conditions. The terrain is rocky and uneven, with limited lighting and potential wildlife encounters. Weather conditions can be unpredictable, and medical assistance may be delayed. By attending, you acknowledge these risks and agree to the terms outlined in the waiver. All participants and guests must sign a release waiver prior to attendance. Please read carefully before signing.

Our showcases travel beyond borders, bringing music, storytelling, and deep connection to some of the world’s most breathtaking dark sky communities. From remote deserts to secluded mountain valleys, we seek places where silence speaks, stars burn bright, and art can exist without distraction.
Each series is rooted in the land that hosts it—honoring the history, the people, and the stories tied to the place. Whether beneath towering red rock formations, ancient forests, or vast desert expanses, we create immersive, presence-driven gatherings where music and myth take on a life of their own.

For this chapter, we gather in the heart of the San Diego desert, where the Milky Way spills across the sky and the silence is thick with possibility. Hosted at an off-grid art sanctuary, this series features singer-songwriters, neurodivergent perspectives and Indigenous artists/storytellers sharing their craft in an intimate, open-air setting surrounded by earth-crafted sculptures and meditative spaces.
As we continue our journey across the world’s most awe-inspiring nightscapes, we invite those who value deep listening, authentic expression, and the sacred nature of creativity to join us.

Buck Dandy
Singer-songwriter Buck Dandy presents a collection of original songs gathered from years spent wandering the United States. With three chords and the truth, vivid characters come alive in a traditional oral storytelling accompanied by ukulele.
Dandy awakens the inner child with songs like Fishin’ In Michigan, Don’t Sell That Drumset and Daddy’s Old Stetson. Drawing on themes of ancestry, adventure, mortality and the celebration of life, Buck offers a troubadour’s perspective on the classic hero’s journey.
